Application
To achieve the perfect colour result, add a few drops of water to the paint and wait until the colour pigments have dissolved. Then mix well with a brush until a creamy consistency is achieved. Have a look at the video below to see how important patience is at this point (not my strong point!)
You can use the colour straight away with a brush or spread it on both sides of a nib for calligraphy. For new nibs, make sure to rinse off the oil film with water and a bit of washing-up liquid before the first use or the colour will remain on the nib and not on the surface.
Experiment with layering and blending colours as well as using shimmer and glitter on different colour papers.
