We aim to post all orders within 1–2 working days (Monday–Friday).

➡️ Orders placed before 12 pm (midday) on weekdays are usually dispatched the same day.

You’ll get a dispatch email as soon as it’s on its way. During busy times — like new box launches or Christmas — it may take a little longer, but we’ll always let you know if there’s a delay.

If you’ve just placed it and it hasn’t been packed yet, yes! Please email us straight away at danielle@undertherowantrees.co.uk and we’ll do our best to catch it in time. Once it’s been packed or shipped, we can’t make changes, but you can return items if needed.

Yes — lots of our customers send gifts straight from us. Simply enter the recipient’s address at checkout. We don’t include paper invoices, so they’ll only receive the lovely stationery — not the prices.

Delivery is free on all UK orders over £50. For smaller orders, postage starts from £3.95 for standard Royal Mail delivery (2–3 working days).

At the moment, we only post within the UK. We’re a small business, and focusing on UK delivery helps us keep postage costs fair and turnaround times quick.

Royal Mail usually delivers within a few days, but if your order hasn’t arrived after 10 working days, please contact us. We’ll do everything we can to help track it down and make sure you get your goodies.

If you’re buying as a gift, the After Dark Box is a great choice — if you want a monthly happy post for yourself, the Rowan Berry Box is perfect.

Absolutely. You can order a one-off box by choosing 'one-time purchase' on the product page. Or you can order one of our previous boxes, which are ready to post.

Payment is taken on the day you subscribe, then automatically each month on the first for Rowan Berry Box or on the 10th of Feb, May, Aug and Nov for After Dark. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your account.

Yes! Life happens — we get it. You can pause, skip a box, or cancel whenever you like through your account page. No fuss, no guilt.

Yes — perfect for when you’re not quite sure what to choose! Gift vouchers are available in several amounts and can be used on anything across our website, including subscription boxes.

Gift vouchers are sent by email, either to you or directly to your chosen recipient. They’ll receive a lovely digital code ready to use at checkout.

We hope you love everything you order, but if not, you can return any unused items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange. Please contact us first so we can help you with the return process.

Oh no! Please send us a photo and your order number to danielle@undertherowantrees.co.uk within 7 days of receiving it. We’ll sort out a replacement or refund straight away.

Because our boxes are carefully curated, we can’t accept partial returns — but if something’s damaged or missing, please get in touch and we’ll make it right.

Yes — we’re proudly based in beautiful Northumberland, and every order is packed with love from our studio there.

Not at the moment — we’re purely online, which means we can focus all our energy on bringing you unique stationery at the best possible prices.

We do our best to choose sustainable and ethical suppliers wherever we can. Many of our products are recyclable, plastic-free or sourced from small UK makers who share our values. We also reuse and recycle as much of the packaging we receive as possible. Sorry if it's not always pretty!
