I like this tip as it writes softer than the normal metacil pencil tip and works better for me. It is only suitable for use in the Metacil school pencil (the metal one requires a different tip) a lesson I learned the hard way. I will probably get a few of these pencils and keep them in different places. I was fed up of never having a sharpened pencil nearby. I have been using my pencil for about 2 weeks and it's still sharp.
