Pentel Mattehop gel pens are available in seven original colours. Mattehop takes gel ink to another level! It uses high-opacity ink with a matte, plastic-look finish when dry, unlike any other gel pen. Brilliant colours write beautifully on both light and coloured paper. It is suitable for use on photographic and coated paper without smearing and smudging. It is excellent for drawing and colouring. It gives maximum impact to cartoons and comic book-style illustrations.

  • 1.0mm tip gives approx. a 0.5mm line width
  • Includes black, red, blue, green, orange, yellow and violet.

Lovely company to deal with

A smudge...disappointed...

Overall its ok, but it smudges a lot! Because it takes a little while to try its easy to smudge it about...not a fan...especially that you also have to 'warm it up' first to make sure it starts writing. It has a lovely coverage but for me the using of it is just a little too troublesome to bother. I rather buy a quicker drying and more reliable alternative. Maybe I was expecting too much since it won awards and all

Delightful!

Truly some nice gel pens, depending on how glossy the surface, they may take more time to dry, but they're bright, colourful and a great addition to my pen collection!
