Ikigai is a Japanese word that combines "iki" (life) and "gai" (worth, benefit). It translates as "a reason for being" or "a reason to get out of bed in the morning". Its focus is finding the cross-over between what you love, what you're good at, what the world needs and what you can be paid for. Come with us on a journey to explore what brings joy to your life (other than stationery, of course)!

What's in the box?

  • Two sheets of washi paper stickers and a roll of 15 mm washi tape.
  • Colouring book - Whilst you ponder what brings you joy, indulge in some mindfulness as you colour the patterns in this square colouring book.
  • Colouring Pencils - Set of 12 colouring pencils from Japanese stationery company Pentel. Use these to add your own colours to all of the items in the box.
  • Postcards - Tell the world once you have discovered your Ikigai, or send these to someone who needs to find their own.
  • Ikiga Venn Diagram - Need some help? Use these prompts to start thinking about what gives you purpose and pleasure in your life.

    Help center

    Postage is never free but to say a big thank you, we will pay for your postage if you spend over £50.

    Shipping is free for orders over £50. For all other orders shipping is £2.55 for a large letter or £3.95 for a small parcel.

    Upgrade to Tracked 24 for £5.95.

    We typically post orders out within 1-2 business days of ordering. From there shipping may take 3-5 business days. We use Royal Mail 2nd Class as standard or you can upgrade to Tracked 24 if you are in a hurry.

    We aim to post out orders as soon as possible, often on the same day Monday to Friday. As soon as your order has been packed, you will receive a dispatch email. Royal Mail collect our parcels at 4 pm each day. If there are going to be any delays or an item is out of stock, I will send you an email so do keep an eye on your inbox just in case.

    If your order includes a Rowan Berry Box, or an After Dark Box, it will be posted out once those items are ready. If you need something quickly, I recommend placing a separate order.
