Looking back on previous advent boxes...
2021 was the fourth year running for the the Under the Rowan Trees Advent Box.
We made LOTS of changes! To start with there were two options, the Advent Journal Box or the Advent Art Box. See below for more details of what was in each one.
The next big change is that it was all packed in a beautiful magnetic closure reusable stationery storage box.
The Advent Journal Box was for those who love journalling. It contained a beautiful 250gsm dot grid notebook which is perfect for using lots of different pens.
We designed exclusive washi tapes, stickers etc to include in this box and it was bursting with all the stationery needed to keep a journal throughout 2022.
As well as all the amazing stationery, the box will contained 25 envelopes with daily prompts and links to help you set up and get the most out of your supplies.

Advent Art Box
If you wanted to try something a little different, the Advent Art Box was for you! This one contained a mixed media journal and a wide selection of art supplies including pencils, watercolours, pens and much more.
The cute little envelopes contain 25 different activities to try with your new supplies. Some were video tutorials, some blog posts, others simply suggestions to inspire you.
No arty skills are required, this is the perfect way to give things a try and to see which styles and techniques you enjoy.
For the first time we did not individually wrap the items as it takes blooming forever as I'm sure you can imagine. Don't worry, there were still plenty of surprises in the little envelopes!
