This fantastic ink by Tom is pigment-rich, waterproof, and lightfast - what more could you want?! Not only does it work wonders in fountain pens and Lumos, but it also defeats UV rays and keeps colours vibrant! Plus, there's no need to worry about bleeding when layering watercolours or other inks. Proudly made in the UK, it's on par with the top American, Japanese, and German equivalents.
Tips from Tom:
- Pigment Black dries a matte charcoal black.
- It's worth waiting a couple of hours before applying washes over the top of the ink to be sure that it is dry enough.
- Be sure to cap your pen when not in use. Please do not store your fountain pen for long periods of time with this ink as it may clog the feed. We recommend rinsing your tips out weekly.
- Even when capped, ink can evaporate from the tip leaving it a little dry. If this happens, just dip in a little water and scribble until you see the ink flowing again.
