March’19 – Reading Stationery Box
As an ex-English Teacher, reading is always close to my heart. My husband teases me that I don’t read enough anymore but that’s because I’m so busy being surrounded by stationery! I tend to listen to audio-books and podcasts whilst I’m working. I loved creating the Reading Stationery Box for you.
What was in the box?
I was truly spoiled for choice for this box. I went with a purple, orange and pink colour palette inspired by the amazing Penguin paperback style bookmarks from Literary Emporium on Etsy.
After a chat in my Facebook VIP group, several people were talking about ways to record the books they had read and how they felt about them. I used to give out reading records to my students but why not for us grown-ups too? The amazing Laura Crow designed the beautiful reading journals you can see in the images above. They are so perfect in every way! They make the perfect centrepiece for the Reading Stationery Box don’t you think?
The wonderful Jodie from Little Thoughts Store, custom made the stickers, journal card and book ephemera for us. I hope you all like tea and books; of course, you do!
LynseyLuu was kind enough to stamp the pencils for us using beautiful purple pearlescent text. They read ‘Just One More Chapter’. I know it’s something I say to myself regularly! These pencils are the perfect companions to your reading journal.
All that was left for me to add was a couple of rolls of washi tape and an April calendar page.
