Love is like Wildflowers

Wildflowers Stationery Box

The box of the month for June 2018 had a theme of Wild Flowers. I took inspiration from the woodland and hedgerows around my home in Northumberland.

The gorgeous ‘British Wild Flowers’ greetings card was designed by the amazing Angie Spurgeon. She also sells this design as an art print along with lots of other nature inspired greetings cards, gift wrap and planner printables.

Your pack of wild flower seeds contains: Foxglove, Borage, Self Heal, Tansy, Ribwort, Burnet, Black Medick, Forget me not, Corncockle, Great Mullein, Birdsfoot, Flax, Ragged Robin, Yellow Rattle, Field Poppy, Cornflower, Sainfoin, Oxeye Daisy, Red Clover, White Clover, Californian Poppy, Blue Lupin, Gypsophila, Dwarf Sunflower, English Lavender, Golden Tickseed, Pheasants Eye, Vetch, Cockfoot, Timothy, Slender Creeping Red Fescue, Meadow Fescue, Smooth Meadow Grass,Crested Dogstail, Sheeps Fescue, Meadow Foxtail, Yorkshire Fog, Upright Brome, Tall Fescue, Strong Creeping Fescue.

The mix is perfect for attracting bees to your garden.

Another stunning image painted by Justine of JakeArt1 is featured on the front of this A5 notebook. The pages are plain, recycled paper; ideal for sketching.

Your box will contain either a pink or purple erasable highlighter. You can use the heat produced by friction when rubbing with the end of the pen to erase the ink. I have also seen a hairdryer used to remove the ink from fabric when drawing guidelines for embroidery. They are magic!

Stationery Box

As well as the magic Frixion highlighter, your box will also contain two rolls of floral washi tape, a sunflower metal bookmark and a bee planner charm which can be attached to your traveller’s notebook or the zip on your pencil case or bag. Also, some mini butterfly sticky notes. They are just big enough for a phone number or beautiful used as decorative stickers.

The final items in your box are a July calendar page which can be stuck on your fridge or in your bullet journal and a monly planning sheet which can be punched and added to your A5 filofax or pinned to your noticeboard to remember key dates.

Around the 20th of each month, I release the theme for the Box of the Month. You have a month to pre-order or to sign up for a recurring subscription.

I occassionaly have spare boxes at the end of the month. If you are not a fan of surprises, this may be the option for you.
